Walk-in Passport Applicants

I know sometimes you wished you were a PWD or pregnant woman just to avail the walk-in courtesy lanes of the DFA Passport Consular Offices. 

But you must deal with reality. This world is not equal. 

According to the DFA, no online appointment is required if you are one of the following:

  1. SENIOR CITIZEN and one (1) travel companion
  2. PERSON WITH DISABILITY (PWDs) and one (1) travel companion
  3. SOLO PARENT and his/her minor children
  4. PREGNANT WOMEN
  5. MINORS SEVEN (7) YEARS OLD AND BELOW and his/her parents and minor siblings
  6. OVERSEAS FILIPINO WORKERS (land-based, or seafarers)

Delayed Passports

The passport office may not admit this but, YES, some passports get delayed in the release. You may be one of those applicants who would walk out that door crying (or furious) because your passport isn't ready, and your friends are all set to fly abroad.
